The Bananas of China
Henry Wang is emblematic of an Anglophile rentier class that has seized an institutional lever of power that only the US could provide as well as export to China, and for the CPC to accept: Dollars.
*
INTRODUCTION. This is Part 2 (Part 1 here) of US regime change in China, a change that could only begin with the Communist Party of China (CPC) when its economic reforms placed wealth at the pedestal of human — and especially Chinese — achievements. The penultimate purpose of these reforms not only matched exactly the debilitating liberal US practices being carried out at home, from the Hill to Wall Street, from New York to San Francisco, but also matched its export ideology promotion abroad, to China in particular.
Making garment fabrics for Chinese and Americans, Chongqing factory girl Zhang Suyu confronted the phenomenon face on, namely the shared CPC-US worship of money wealth. She wanted it stop. But how? Complain to who? It was the Communist Party of China after all that wanted things that way. Zhang took her complaint to her diary instead and went the direction opposite the CPC. She quit her job and starved herself to death, alone in her factory flat not much bigger than President Joe Biden’s dog kennel. Before death, August 8, 2000, she made sure to settle her last utility bills, water in March and electricity in July. Today is the 24th anniversary year of a death that the CPC does not even acknowledge exists, much less think it has anything to do with it.
For Zhang’s suicide account and her diary entries, see this. For CPC’s reforms of China that underlaid by a betrayal of its own mission, see this and this.

BANANA TREASON
It was never that meant to be that way, having this institutional power of money greater than the CPC and especially all Chinese culture and civilization.
China’s history has had for 3,000 years taught and reminded the Chinese to never, never let that institution seize power. So it relegated the capitalist class, merchants in the main, to the bottom of the social and political hierarchy, at par with the vagrant and two rungs below the farmers.
The last time that the class succeeded to seize power, 247 BCE, the Qin emperor Ying Cheng had his top official, a tycoon prime minister Lu Buwei 呂不韋 whom he had inherited from his father, exiled to a patch of land. There he was made to grow his own food. Later, when enemies of the Qin State attempted to recruit him for his inside knowledge of Qin State affairs, the emperor offered Lu a way out of his predicament and in particular out of any possible treason charge: Kill himself. Which he did in 235 BCE using poison stirred into tea.
Below is a tentative list of the Lu Buweis the Chinese might want to see dead, if not tonight then tomorrow. The charge is, the Mother of all Crimes: The exploitation and abuse thereof of their Chinese ethnic lineage, nationality and heritage and using the same to betray the Chinese nation to the US that has sworn China’s destruction, and has repeatedly demonstrated doing so, Tibet 1950 to 1969, Tiananmen 1989, Xinjiang 2010-2014, Hong Kong 2019.
Call it the Grand Purge of the Liberals, we hold them responsible for the deaths of many, starting with Zhang Suyu. The prosecution list starts with the Bananas, the Anglophile rent-seeking class of academia mostly resident in Hong Kong and Beijing. In no particular order:
Huang Yiping 黄益平,
Tu Xinquan 屠新泉
Wang Huiyao 王辉耀 alias Henry Wang
Wu Jinglian 吴敬琏
Liu Junning 劉軍寧
Li Yinhe 李银河
Zhang Weiying 张维迎
Dogs tethered to their Master’s house bark as are expected of them. So their financial, commercial and other related affiliations, past and present, are unimportant; these won’t be marked in the gravestones of Bananas anyway.
The Chinese have not yet collected on the mountains of blood debt the West owes to their forefathers, the 三·一八惨案 The March 18 Massacre for example. Yet the seven people on the list are busy writing for their American Master new instruments of debt for issuance to China (see Banana Revisionism). They have taken those instruments to the CPC’s Third Plenum, July 15 to 18, whose Decision remains murky evidently to hide the import and gravity of giving accension to them.
The Third Plenum Decision is clearly the beginning of… something.
The writer Lu Xun 魯迅 was mindful of both past debts owed and new ones being cooked up in 1926 by the (Taiwanese) Republican government in an essay he was still writing when the March 18 Massacre took place. That, too, happened in Tiananmen: 47 dead, over 200 injured, almost all students, killed by their own government. He finished his essay and titled it: 无花的蔷薇之二Rose Blooms Without Flowers:
这不是一件事的结束,是一件事的开头。
墨写的谎说,决掩不住血写的事实。
血债必须用同物偿还。拖欠得愈久,就要付更大的利息!
In translation, mine:
This is not the end but the beginning of … something. Lies written in ink can never conceal the facts written in blood. Blood debts must be paid in kind. The longer one is in arrears, the greater is the interest accrued on day of repayment!
Lies written in ink can never conceal the facts written in blood…. It’s a line worth remembering for the day when the Henry Wang Seven on the list leads a CPC police squad to take the people’s land.
NEW INK, OLD TRICKS
The Henry Wang Bananas now ascribe material successful to the economic liberalism they had introduced into China’s past 40-odd years of reform. This is the platform from which they shout today. Therefore, as their logic goes, if the CPC further liberalizes and opens up then everybody will get even richer. (See this Banana proposal, for example, into how the Chinese could make money even in their sleep, like they do and like Larry Fink and Jamie Dimon.)
Tu Xinquan, a World Bank US lackey has to say about that logic:
“The [Third Plenum] Decision has made clear that reform and opening up is still what it meant before. The Chinese people have enjoyed the huge benefits of a freer economy and society and won't give them up. [So] I don't think China has another choice but to continue the path of market economy.
In a rephrasing, and in plainer language, Tu is saying that the pro-US CPC liberal faction has got where they wanted the Commies — that is, trapped. So people who have tasted honey and red meat won’t want to revert to swallowing tapioca starch and eating worms for protein, nor would they permit the CPC government to do so.
Ignore the syllogism except to return to the premise of the Bananas which is straightforwardly this: Did economic liberalism, as it is commonly understood and spelled out in the Washington Consensus, make China rich? (Also see Huang Yiping and the Soviet Union further below.)
We have an irrefutable verdict not just from China the past 40 years but also from the World that will lay bare Tu Xinquan’s lies. Never mind that, therefore, because of Lu Xun’s reminder, “Lies written in ink can never conceal the facts written in blood.” What counts in China is the character of CPC government: Who are these people? What have they become?
Small wonder Zhang Suyu, in her final days, starving, was pleading into her diary for Mao Zedong to return, even as a ghost, simply to rescue the Chinese from the CPC today! (Read excerpts here.)
People say you can tell the quality of a tree from its fruits. Below is a (rotten and rotting) record of the CPC:
The CPC government allowed the US to experiment in Wuhan dangerous and infectious pathogens, namely the SARS-1 Covid virus that killed more than 20,000 Chinese and triggered a worldwide epidemic. To date, there has been no accounting from the CPC for hosting this bio-warfare killing of Chinese, with apology much less.
The Henry Wangs and their Bananas with their academic and corporate dealings with the Democrats, in particular, is outright treason. Under the aegis of the National Endowment for Democracy, the Democrat Institute and Asia Society, the Democrat Party is the CIA political front. That’s evidential fact, not conspiratorial speculation.
CPC officials in government and in academia working with US are in consort with the world’s worse evil, most corrupt, and tyrannical. Chinese officials and Xi Jinping promote themselves as international stars taking walks in the park with Emmanuel Macron, receiving Bill Gates and Elon Musk. But these actions showed Chinese officialdom matches US hypocrisy in two-face policies, in government and academia. It especially proved a government unwillingness or inability, but most likely both, to prefer money and influence over standards in Chinese ethical culture and simple decency.
Macron’s wife was a pedophile who, at age 40, left her husband and children to live and sleep with one of her students, a 15-year-old boy. This is the White academic world that Henry Wang promotes at home then demand the CPC throw open all doors in China to the West. (He never once ever speak of Blacks or Latinos in the same vein, and we know why don’t we?) It gets worse because the Bananas outright embrace White sex morality: Claiming to be women because they had their dicks surgical removed and an artificial vagina put in its place, western, white male athletes now compete in women’s events, the Olympics for example. In White societies everywhere, black today is white, evil is good, war is peace and academia in China, such as Li Yinhe and Henry Wang pretend all this isn’t happening while they herd naive Chinese university students into emulating US society and values to promote more “opening up.”
The Chinese government’s eagerness to toe the Henry Wang China “open up” doctrinal claptrap has been made at the welfare expense of thousands of Chinese who must travel abroad or must present themselves in the public globally. Incidences of Chinese official neglect and indifference towards these Chinese individuals are innumerable to cite here: students, teachers, Confucian linguists, scholars and researchers, corporate executives, and now, in the Paris Olympics, swimming athletes. The foreign charges against them can be severe, jail in the US for example. Through no fault of their own, the athletes are victims of deliberate racist attacks supported at the highest level of a bigoted US government, this arising in turn from US policy efforts to contain and cripple China. Yet not once has the Chinese government stood up for these athletes — mass walk out of these events for example. (Listen to this piece of apologetic shit from Victor Gao, the liberal CPC’s chief Anglophone propagandist, apologizing for the US!) A mass boycott would have been an easy option if, just for once, China stood with Russia against identical fabricated charges. Instead like Russians yesterday, Chinese athletes today are left alone to fend for themselves against Olympic size propaganda lies and hit jobs in trial by media.
In the way the liberal CPC displayed total indifference to Chinese fighting off US attacks, there was the same show of callousness towards Palestinian facing death. Instead, Chinese money and engineers helped build for Israel the Haifa port, while pretending the Jewish genocidal campaign waged against hapless Palestinians wasn’t happening.
Li Qiang shakes hands and have tea with the like of Elon Musk. Shanghai CPC let Musk use Tesla to make money from Chinese. Then with those profits, plus his US military contracts, in StarLink for example, Musk spies against Russia in the Ukraine war, and staged a 2019 coup against a legitimate government in Bolivia and now repeated in Venezuela.
To stay close to the US, China supported UN Security Council resolutions in the 1990s that betrayed then crippled the DPRK north Korean economy and society, resolutions that the US, Canada, Australia now use as pretext to launch spy missions over China’s northeastern coast and cities in Liaoning even Shanghai.
The US bombs, wantonly kills and undermine governments in one out of two of China’s neighboring states - most recent years, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Syria - while the CPC government sits on its hands pretending to be a saint, minding its own business. Then when the killing and maiming is over, China moves in with its Belt and Road Initiative construction and mining projects, proclaiming “US bombs, China builds.” Never has the world known a bigger opportunist as the CPC.
From top down, and at all levels, the US is a corrupt, thieving regime, from the US Congress and White House to their corporate, academic and media hangers-on. Like the US is corrupt, so are all the international institutions it controls and funds: the IMF, World Bank, WTO, US Treasuries, and now, to the fore, the Olympic Council. But, and in spite of the overwhelming body of evidences about their weaponization and abuses, the CPC Bananas continue to feather the beds of these people — and against Chinese core security interests and that of friends. The consequences are everywhere to see: the tighter is the “open door” embrace, the greater grows the danger of US threat to China, something which would suit Wang’s American friends very well. This is good enough reason the CPC government arrests, try the Bananas in public, execute them and hang the head of Henry Wang at the gates of Tiananmen.

BANANA REVISIONISM
Mao Zedong was on to the something when he wrote:
“修正主义上台,就是资本主义上台,而且是最坏的资本主义,是法西斯主义。… 要警惕修正主义,特别要警惕中央出修正主义。” (Cited here.) Translation: “When revisionism comes to power, capitalism comes to power, and the worst kind of capitalism is fascism. We must be vigilant against revisionism, especially revisionism in the Central Committee.”
It seems now, in hindsight, that Mao had presaged the arrival of the China’s liberals into the CPC. But did Mao mean to refer specifically to the Anglophile class of Banana Lu Buwei? Or, worse than that lot? Had he imagined they would be allowed into high places of academia (see list above) and the CPC Central Committee, all paid for and rewarded by the very institutions they seek to undermine, even destroy — with US financial, corporate and ideological assistance, of course.
Revisionism is what the word says it is, revising an established line of thought. Specifically, it means taking the arguments of communism (or socialism) to repackage it as harmless idol worship that even landlords and the bourgeoisie find useful as pretext and as cover to sell snake oil and smuggled goods in cartons labelled Bible and a cross. If this sounds like Henry Wang, et al, that’s because it is he, that whitey cock sucking motherfucker.
Revisionism in China isn’t just deception. It also doesn’t matter if it is borne out of Anglophile stupidity or ignorance. What counts to the nation is, it seeks to aid America’s global preponderant power that, in its turn, looks to destroying the Chinese order — within its own borders — and one that has been in place for 5,000 years!
HUANG YIPING REVISIONISM
Here’s Huang Yiping revisionism. The passage is picked at random:
“The Chinese reform approach was never really a radical approach or a "big bang" approach (sic!). In fact, as economists, we spend decades debating with each other whether the former Soviet Union's "big bang" approach was better, or the Chinese gradualism approach was better. Not to mention which is better, but just think: any kind of reform program you adopt needs to meet one requirement, that is social, economic, and political feasibility.”
Every other line in that passage is patently false when not a lie. (So indoctrinated are these people, like Americans and Whites, that they find impossible to utter a single statement of truth.)
What “feasibility” is there to chatter about for 18 households in Xiaogang, Anhui, when they became the first village to break from collectivized farming. Its population of some 2,000 were on the verge of starvation. Today hailed by the CPC government as a model of reform, Xiaogang never had to worry about stupid Tsinghua university “feasibility” studies. Proposed reforms were not based any “feasibility requirements”. Xiaogang was starving. So 18 households gambled, took the lead and agreed one night in a signed document to produce more than the grain production allotment target. Satisfying the target, they’d hand over the required minimum quantity to the collective and hid the surplus among themselves before the onset of winter.
Simply comparing the Soviet Union and China wasn’t just a false dichotomy. Ronald Reagan meeting for the first time Mikhail Gorbachev in Geneva in 1985 had no thoughts about “big bang.” Rather he was wondering if Gorbachev would agree to selling Soviet state assets to Americans. Seeing his fancy Rado Manhattan watch and expensive French coat, Reagan concluded, “Yeah ... He will sell us everything.” (Cited here, from Ronald Reagan’s diaries.)
That was Huang’s so called “big bang” launch?
In the 20 years to 2000, Russian deaths exceeded births. In 1993 alone 700,000 more deaths. In just three years, 1990-1993, life expectancy — the most reliable and concrete measure of society’s welfare or change — fell from age 63 to 58, and kept falling to below 50! That didn’t stop until 2000 when Vladimir Putin came on the scene. By which time, Russian industrial plants, land, oil and gas and mineral fields, bridges, airports, even fighter jets, schools and bakeries were sold for pennies in a dollar to the West. After which workers were laid off and pensions stopped. So bad was the situation men drank themselves to death, women turned to prostitution. Retired men sold sticks of cigarettes on the streets for money to feed their families.
Americans wanted it that way, and with Gorbachev’s executive government help got what they wanted.
So what big bang is that piece of shit named Huang Yiping talking about?
As if the Soviet lesson isn’t bad enough, the Banana clique of Huang, Wang, et al is now on record of telling their American friends and bosses that the same remedy — sell and privatize everything — have been tabled for consideration at the Third Plenum, July 15 to 18. And senior liberals in the CPC is said to have given at least a nod even though that is not yet on paper.
We Chinese now wait for Henry Wang to lead a squad of CPC police goons to knock on our door and seize our land, sell it to their mistresses for title transfer onward to BlackRock! Zhang Suyu was helpless in the face of this CPC assault, but we’ll surrender our land only over our dead bodies. We’ll see the motherfucker in hell!
CHINA IN DEBT TRAP
Here’s Tu Xiquan, another pro-American liberal who once served in an arm of the US military called the World Bank:
“…the fundamental issue in the Chinese economic and even political reform is the ownership problem. If the government always emphasizes that the public ownership should take the dominance, the private sector, including foreign companies, won't be able to compete in a truly fair and equal way and the market economy mechanism won't be feasible. So I would say this intentional omission [of public ownership] is a great step forward. Of course, I wish in the future or the planned law on the promotion of the private sector could have even more clarity about the equality between different ownerships.”
Huang Yiping expands on Tu:
“Should we expect 100% equal treatment of private enterprises and state-owned enterprises? I think we should be realistic enough. When a government official sees a state-owned enterprise and a private-owned enterprise, they won't be 100% equal. That's something we should just be very clear. … [But] private enterprises are actually gaining more areas to operate, and these are the areas where they're going to see less discrimination.
“To give an example: You've probably heard the private enterprises are having difficulties in getting financial support. So I spoke to lots of government officials and the banks. The banks, in fact, told me that they don't discriminate against the private-owned enterprises. And so I said, why you're not lending as much to the private-owned enterprise?”
With so much spittle, what do their remarks boil down to?
The answer is an easy one: Which is to change the institutional structure of economic ownership in China. If they succeed, that structure would prefer to imitate an American-style system within which everything is privatized, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, malls, airports, roads, bridges and so on. Even war would be privatized if not already subcontracted, like it is in America where private arms manufacturers find profit to have politicians stir up more wars in order to sell and drop more bombs on babies in Gaza.
It is these kind of sick World Bank and multilateral officials we now find in Chinese academia, daily spreading voodoo economics and human destruction.
Instead of seeing the market simply as a place to trade, Tu, Huang et al seek to change the market’s only requisite character, which is to trade. Instead the market is now to be supplanted by the type of market players. Worse still, they demand to change only one side or only one type of player in the market, namely the supplier of goods and services.
Tu, Huang et al like to pepper their speeches with morality terms like equality. Not good enough that they want only buyers to determine the market’s character but can anyone find a single reference of equality between seller and buyer?
Between seller and buyer in a market, Tu, Huang et al never demand equality. Not good enough they want sellers — not the buyers — to determine the market’s character, they also want to determine the type of sellers. It has to be private over the State (a) as if the State has no right to be a market player, and (b) as if the private sector is some saint in its market conduct and behavior.
One also never hears Tu, Huang et al complain about the State being the market’s biggest single consumer, much less hear them talk about equality therein. But if the State were the biggest consumer in a market monopolized only by their private corporate US sponsors, they would like that, won’t they?
Imagine Cargill is the only seller of grain in a market to the Chinese government who is the biggest single consumer? No equality there, but does Tu, Huang et al care even to mention that? Or imagine Citibank the sole reseller of Dollar-denominated bonds for the Chinese government.
Indeed, in their “free market” ideology, Tu, Huang et al seek to supplant the role of the state in favor of private companies that, since the East India Company to present day BlackRock and Goldman Sachs, have just one primary ambition when seeking to maximize profitability. Which is, monopoly.
Now, how is that private monopoly different from a Soviet state controlled market, especially like the one in America where corporations bribe US Congress and the White House officials — openly to boot — to help them retain their private monopoly. Or bail them out when they lose money or get into trouble, which is often.
Worse than being a poison in China, people like these Tu-tus and Huangs serve the private kleptocratic American system that spreads war, theft and misery all over the world.
For each snake oil suggestion they offer on behalf of their American masters, we have resolved to cut off one finger. Tu Xiquan’s prick is counted as his last finger, as is Huang Yiping’s dick. After that let’s see how many fingers and pricks these motherfuckers have in them to open their stupid, filthy mouths. (For background material, see, Debt is political: Why wealth flows from poor to rich. 2024 Aug 7. Also see Michael Hudson, 2023. The World Bank is an Arm of the US Military.)
Below is a sample from 50 years of privatizing government finances and budgets that US banks and US-controlled financial institutions have wrought on the world. This, at root, is what the Anglophile Tu-tus and the Banana Huang are after in China and seek from the CPC government by peddling buckets of snake oil.
